Peruvian Apple Cactus, also known as Cereus repandus, is a popular cactus species that is native to South America. This cactus plant is known for its tall, columnar shape and its ability to produce edible fruits. When grown indoors, it can reach up to 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

Prefers Bright Indirect Light.  Place in east or west facing windows that receive bright light for most of the day. 

Water deeply once a week during the growing season (spring and summer) and reduce watering during the dormant season (fall and winter). Make sure the soil is dry to the touch, but not completely dry.  Avoid getting water on the leaves or stem, as this can cause rotting. Overwatering can cause the roots to rot, leading to the death of the plant.
